Landscape Architecture Parks & Preserves
The beauty of purpose and pleasure.
Whether for preservation, passive recreation or active public use, Site Planning Development has the leadership, organizational and design skills needed for implementation. We have designed and built several outstanding preserves in Northwest Michigan including; Thorneswift Nature Preserve off M-119 north of Harbor Springs and the Antrim Creek Natural Area, on the bay west of Atwood. Lake Michigan Beach in Charlevoix and Dow Gardens in Midland are examples of more active parks designed by our staff. In the design and construction of these projects, Site Planning worked in hand with the local communities, property owners and organizations such as Little Traverse Conservancy and Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy. |
