The building was new, but the facility suffered drainage problems, the playground puddled with every rainfall. During heavy rains, water crept into the building and damaged the floor. Students needed a safe and dry place to excercise and play. Though only one year old, the facility needed additional parking to accomodate the rapidly growing number of students.
Site Planning Development, Inc. listened to the teachers and administrators to define the problems and list the needs. We prepared plans for grading and drainage, for play and activity, for gathering, gardening and reading. We moved thousands of tons of earth, installed drainage systems to remove the water, created the outdoor spaces and doubled the parking. We installed play equipment, hard surface play areas, shade structures, sod and irrigation.
Today Site Planning Development's solutions have become fertile, solid ground for learning, understanding and interaction among staff and students. |
